Nowadays, as more and more people keep pets, some problems are brought to people’s life. For example, dog bites have become a very common form of injury. You should not be careless about dog bites. The result caused by dog bites may be very serious, permanent disfigurement and psychological trauma, to name a few. Even worse, they may result in death.

Once you were bitten by a dog, you should know whether the dog has rabies. If it did, you should receive appreciate vaccines. Never sign papers or make record statements.

It is possible that the dog owner or their insurance company will persuade you to make statement about what happened. In most cases, their purpose is to avoid their liability for your injuries. In order to protect your own rights, you need to find a lawyer to help you if they approach you.

Asking doctors for help
Wound bitten by dogs can be easily infected if you don’t handle it carefully? Infection can occur even with scrapes and abrasions. An infected wound can result in a worse scar, and may also cause serious complications and side effects. Also, if you wait to get treatment it may not be possible to suture your wounds, increasing the severity of scarring and possibility complicating your recovery.
